Case NIGHTMARE BLUE

This NIGHTMARE case is, essentially, “death by reality incursion”, as changes in local space-time make the entry of SCEPTRE AXE-class entities into our manifold of reality possible. Their arrival (or the changes in space-time that made this possible) will end human life as we know it. A straight NIGHTMARE BLUE crisis is, by current definition, thankfully impossible – most of the various NB files consider conditions for and responses to the partial manifestation of SA-type entities.

NB is sometimes referred to as "the Blue Screen of Death" by analysts with a taste for black humour.
